Carnival Cruise to the Southern Caribbean

This 14-day cruise is a round-trip from Baltimore to the exotic islands of the Southern Caribbean. The voyage is on one of the "fun ships" of Carnival Cruise Line.

You'll spend two days at sea in route to the Caribbean. The first stop is Grand Turk Island in the Turks & Caicos, where you'll spend day 4 of the cruise. Grand Turk is a small island surrounded by a coral reef, so plan to snorkel or dive. Historic Cockburn Town is fun to explore. Other excursion options are horseback rides, kayaking, ATV tours, and stingray encounters.

Day 5 is another fun day at sea, and Day 6 is at Aruba. The famous island in the farthest deep Southern Caribbean is a great destination. Things to do include a Jeep safari, sailing snorkel cruise, and island tours.

Curacao is the port of call on day 7. It's another of the islands farthest south. It has a nice European style. Enjoy a dolphin encounter, an island highlights tour, coastal drive or rainforest experience. Day 8 is at sea.

St Maarten
St Lucia

The island of Barbados is the stop on day 9 of the cruise. Explore caves. Ride in a submarine. Sail on a catamaran. Swim with sea turtles.

The ship will bring you to St Lucia on day 10. St Lucia is part of the Lesser Antilles islands and its capital is Castries. It has dramatic and scenic mountain terrain along with white sand beaches. Ride into the volcano crater of Mount Soufriere. Shop in Central Market. Relax in mineral baths. Ride an aerial tram.

The final port on this Southern Caribbean cruise from Baltimore is St Maarten on day 11. The island is split into French and Dutch sides. See historic forts. Shop on the Philipsburg waterfront. Dance to calypso music. Zip around on personal water boats. Ride on a Jeep tour.

Unwind on 3 days at sea on your way back to Baltimore.
