Royal Caribbean Family Cruises from Baltimore

Royal Caribbean cruise ships are designed with families and kids in mind. Family Ocean View staterooms can sleep up to 6. The Royal Family Suite has two bedrooms and two baths.

On the Royal Caribbean cruises out of Baltimore, enjoy features like family-friendly movies on a 220-square-foot outdoor movie screen by the pool, the thrilling Centrum Wow aerial acrobatics show, rock-climbing wall, Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, pools, games and contests.

Royal Babies is for ages 6-18 months. Royal Tots for 18-36 months. Parents join their children in playgroup sessions. Daytime and evening drop-off is offered for an hourly fee.

Royal Caribbean's complimentary Adventure Ocean youth program offers age-appropriate curriculums. Aquanauts (ages 3 to 5) have fun becoming "Certified Junior Adventure Scientists" and take over the ship on the Pirate Party Parade. Explorers (ages 6 to 8) have hands-on science explorations along with Adventure Art and Adventure Theater. Voyagers (ages 9 to 11) do a scavenger hunt, sports tournaments, talent show, and video game showdowns.

Teens age 12 to 14 enjoy rock climbing, dodgeball, barbeques, movie nights, open mic, and talent shows. Teens age 15 to 17 have pool parties, dinners, karaoke, and sports.

Carnival Family Cruises from Baltimore

Carnival Cruises out of Baltimore also are well designed for families and kid-friendly. The Carnival Waterworks waterpark is a big attraction. The Seaside Theater shows movies outdoors. Hasbro the Game Show teams kids and adults in big-time game show fun. At meals, kids get their own menus.

Camp Carnival youth program splits children into three age groups: 2 to 5 years, 6 to 8, and 9 to 11. Activities include arts, dance, movies, toys, and video games. The new Seuss at Sea program brings favorite books to life in a character parade, interactive story time, crafts, and a character breakfast.

Circle C is where young teens age 12 to 14 make new friends and hang out in their own supervised area. There are dance parties, games, outdoor movies and more.

Club O2 is for teens age 15 to 17. They'll enjoy video games, sports, current music, movies, and a pool party.
